Black wire with blue stripe... earth?

Postby rjr666 » Sun Feb 11, 2007 9:06 pm

Just putting my motor back in the car... got about 98% of the wires reconnected... but i cant seem to find a location for a black wire with blue stripe on it and a spade plug connector... it looks like it should be earth... but i didnt write down what went where!

The wire is located taped up with the rear water temp sensor behind the cas. And i dont have a workshop manual otherwise it might have come in handy

many thanks :D

I think it goes on the water temp sender (at the rear of the head) for the temp gauge. The colour code agrees with the wiring diagrams I have.

hehe...

Its a japanese greddy/trust kit stainless manifold with td05 turbo, 38mm tial wastegate, front mount intercooler, motor has been fully rebuilt by a private motor in builder in Melbourne who does race bike engines manily.

It has been blue print and balanced, wiseco pistons, gtx familia rods shot peened and resized, all arp studs and bolts, mazdaspeed oil pump, mazda speed engine mounts, commetic headgasket, gtr skyline injectors all new seals and cleaned and flowtested 480cc, some also headwork but no cams or adj cam gears at this stage want to get it running first and tuned.

as for what power its going to make? i dunno what ever its going to make its going to make weather its 160rwkw or 210rwkw? aslong as it goes... been about 6-7months in the making im hanging to drive it! in the garage NA and out turbo... its going to be an interesting experiance!
