I've investigated the bosch coils, problem is they like to have a hell of a lot of dwell and out little wastespark system is incapable of supplying enouhg dwell at high RPM to keep up to teh demands of these coils.
Ideally I would use 4 bosch coils with a 4 channel ignighter, but I was looking for an easy way out.
MSD is certainly the easy way out.

Actually otherwise there is a bitsa you can put together from mitsubishi parts that is supposed to work well. Can get info if you are interested.

See teh basics are that I can go to teh new Microtech ECU and a X4 4 channel ignition box with bosch coild for a REALLY good price, but then I'd need to do a whole lot of rewiring - I'd prefer to stay simple and keep the wiring work to a minimum...
X3 Excel wastespark coils and ignitors are identical to Evo 3 Coils and Ignitors and are supposed to be good for 300kw @ the wheels.
Evo 3 will be rather rare and hard to get but X3 Excel should be easy as. Just go pilfer the system from a wrecker.
