Hey guys,
Bought an Autotechnica harness from Mania.
I know that I am going to have to get some work done to get nuts fitted to the floor for the crotch strap eye bolts.
I have been told that I can fit the one of the lap harness points to the seat belt mount near the door.
I've discovered that my seat belt catch mounts to the seat rails and not to the body. My question is:
Can I mount the other lap harness point to where the seat rail meets the body near the rear of the cabin or is it a different thread nut back there?
Thanks,
Matt

Use eye bolts into the stocky holes - they are the same size. Make sure you use the washers so that your OEM belts still move. Mounting the crotch is easy, go to revolution racegear and purchase the bottom plates to suit eye bolts. then you just drill the hole in the floor (missing fuels lines etc) and use the bottom plates to reinforce the hole from below - simple!

Thanks for the info manga_blue!
Daniel from Mania indicated something similar to me yesterday as well.
I'll go searching for it, hopefully, this evening. I want the harness on board, even in 4 point form, for this weekend's action at Wakefield.

Lara was at the mechanics yesterday, just to make sure that everything is relatively intact for this coming Sunday.
I got to see her up on the hoist and had one of the guys look for the thread holes through the body on the transmission tunnel. We found one!
I originally thought that bolt to be the wrong size and have the wrong thread. I am so very glad to be wrong.
This morning I have disassembled that point and found that the eye bolt does in fact fit in there. Now I am going to have to buy a larger eye bolt to hold that stock stuff there.
