Steady on cowboy! My car has been pranged twice at QR, not to mention the amount of other people who have had radiators that have blown and wheel bearings and brakes that have died.. It can and does happen. Don't want to loose your baby in the first month, do you?! :D

wouldnt be the first time. i had my GTi-R in the mechanics three times in the first month when i got it (it was faults from the dealer, but still) and twice in the second. that and my friend does all the work on my car for me for cheap  dont worry, i'll be good till i get used to the car.

i'll gradually warm myself up with the car, and then take it full pelt  it'll be fine, i never push myself past my limits (well, not often  )

An e-mail was sent out last night to all people who responded (by sending me an e-mail) saying they wanted to attend.

The e-mail contained details of payment and it included the forms for you to fill out prior to the day.

If you didn't get this e-mail, let me know.

You do not have to be a member to attend... just have to have an mx5

Just leave the fields blank.

Being a club track day, it was intended for members only. Otherwise what is the use being a member

Preference will be given to members, if we don't get numbers then I will open it up to non-members. But I can't guarantee you a spot.

So your next question will be how are the numbers going?

I will do a count and get back to you.

You can get a member number by joining the club. :)

It will only cost you $50 for a single membership ($65 joint/family) for the rest of this financial year including a once off joining fee. It pays to belong. 8)

it is with great regret that i will have to pull out for this event  the car has arrived but the parts havent. i dont really want to drive a car round QR with a gearbox about to blow.

hopefully it will be ready for the next meet or maybe some QR Sprints.

EDIT: i will still come out on the day to see everyone and show off my new baby though
