yeah that iis a goood point manga-blue. i did the bob jane alignment simple coz i knew i would probly not get a chance to take the car anywhere else in the next few weeks (too busy with other stuff) , so figured this as a safety measure to keep the wear even until i get a chance to get it to someone who knows the mx5. anyway, the guy who did the aligment told me that the front was out a little bit but that the back was fine, so he didn;t touch it i think.

anyway i'm not far from you (preston). can you recommend anyone local i should take my car to for a good alignment ?

Take it to a specialist sports/racing suspension shop. There plenty of members' opinions about good workshops if you just search through this site.

Working mon - friday makes my choices limited.
Will go with bob jane alignment till i can source out good alignment in brisbane, possibly Fulcrum.

I'd recommend Leda Suspension at Brendale. He does A LOT of work for guys running in targa tas, club racing etc etc. He's kept busy with race cars a lot of the time, but also does road cars. Really knows his stuff!
