Roof Tear -

Postby Brotherontherun » Thu Feb 01, 2007 8:47 pm

Hey guys,

Its been a while since I have logged on but i am hoping someone can point me in the right direction - I have a small tear forming on my soft top. It's positioned at about 9 Oclock above the window curve.

It's taken me by surprise as the rest of the roof is in good nick.

Anyone able to recommend someone who can make the repair here in Melbourne?

Thanks so much

Brad

I don't know anyone in Melbourne, but have a look through the yellow pages for mobile vinyl welders.
Some of these guys do a really good job, and don't cost much either.

having had a couple of roofs start to crack ive come to the conclusion that trying to keep the top and repairing it is a lost cause...get a new one.
both of mine were \"good tops\" except for the crack.....repared it then another would appear then another etc......get a new top.
