yeh im keen to see the DFA intstalled and working..

installing mine on saturday.

doing a test circuit on wednesday.

also keen on seeing the emanage installed.. i never installed it when i had it.

this jaycar thing he has isn't a dfa. it's just an air / fuel meter. a nice fancy digital one tho.

Seriously hunt around for an older laptop that can run win98/XP, has a CD drive and a com port. Worth bugger all secondhand but worth there wait in gold when you want to tune cars.


Lucky for me that Link have a Com/USB adaptor...so I can plug into my ECU using USB via my adaptor.

Adaptors are shithouse. Though hopefully Link have properly tested that one to make sure it's compatible. I had a piece of equipment at work that would not function properly at all finally worked out in the end it was the USB to COM port adapter. Threw it in the bin and bought a COM port card and happy days. After this I no longer want anything to do with USB to COM port adapter. Hardwired FTW!

anyway here are some pics. sorry for the threadjack boags :shock:

so ya just snip the afm wire and add a bit of extra wire length at the in and out, grab ya 12v and ground and wire it up

then screw the lid on and slip it in next to the ecu

the hand controller fits neatly in the ashtray hole as well, once ya remove the ashtray .
