i had the option to get deep corn when i got my classic, but i want silver spokes (they only came in black) as the NA interior is too dark.

sirbob wrote:How can that be? I thought red light was the least invasive of all light colours and allows for maximum vision in the dark as your pupils do not close up as much when they see it, hence taking less time to dilate between looking at the lights and looking at the dark road?

I thought this was the reason why all astronomers have red cellaphane around their torches and why all darkrooms are lit with a red light?

I guess red is one of the dimmest colours for astronomers to be able to read their charts without affecting too much of their pupil dilation. Besides, they usually spend more time watching the stars rather than the charts. Any astronomers wants to chime in here?

I can recall during my darkroom days, we used dim amber light. Even the dimmest red light is not safe for some photographic materials which is just as well, as working in a red lit darkroom would be terribly tiring for the eyes.

See this link for info re colour spectrum and the eyes.

Nice mods Raymo. I like the look of the AWD gauges but I'm not a fan of the colours he uses in most of them. I honestly love the original dials...I think they are very tough looking. Sad not to many people think the same way. Your car is looking great though...keep us updated on any future modifications

That is so classy. That's a great combo there, except for your knob. Have you had anyone complain about having such a large knob? :P

Love the mods Raymo. The interior looks great.

BTW - is the instrument surround real alloy or the imitation stuff.

Looking fantastic RaYmO :D
Personally I thought the stock NA6 Momo wheel looked fantastic already, but I wouldn't mind the Nardi either 8)
