I always thought that you were allowed 2\" bigger than stock.

If standard is 16\" you can go up to 18\"s but for a NA max biggest would be 16\"s.

ao758 is from Sydney NSW
If i remember & read correctly hes converted an NA to rotary. Or in the process

SO NSW laws come into play. which are different to other states.

legally he's allowed to have 19" rimms as long as the overall height of ther combination does not exeed 15mm more than the largest tyre & wheel combination stated for that vehicle.

Front wheels
*no narrower than 70% fitted to the rear

but then i can't imagine a 19" rimm being less than 6.5" or even 7" anyway.

since he's building a beast.....in the end he's prolly going to get it all enfgineered anyway so all this waffle is pointless

19\" rims are huge
I thought my 16\" rims are pretty big already
It's gonna look so pretty meaty and badass on a car like a Miata though

sometimes i wish i could JDM the car, black paint/rims and punish it. then other times i love the look of sex spec.

I fail to see how it can be refered to as sex spec?! How do you get any sex when 99% of the population is laughing at you, and you oversized, look at me wheels? :?

And also dis-agreed... :D

There is no doubt that 15's handle better because they weigh less but I think they look too small. It just doesn't look right IMO. It's very subjective though.

I think for looks 17's are the way to go on the NA. And if you spend enough you can get some very light ones which are comparable in weight to the average 15\" rim. My 17's weigh 6.9kgs per rim, I'd be interested to see how that compares to smaller wheels... :?:

Semi-agree.

For looks I think 16\" would probably look the best on an NA.

But I would much prefer 15s with a phat offset, dropped to a good height as well :)

it looks pretty stock... just a little lower. forgot to add it has a lexus optional sports exhaust. You can only hear it when you put your foot down. a nicec change from the constant brrrrr brrr brr you get from the cannon.

not really worth getting photos of. nice and clean but in no ways turns heads. I will be adding BCHLR2 number plates to it. have both cars in the garage..... which to take out :P
