Not sure if this is the norm in a NB, but I do remember hearing about this in some NAs. The idea was to slide the seat back as far as possible and then tilt the back of the seat until it rest against the car body. Don't remember what the actual cause was though.

I would suggset giving the seat a whack and listening for the rattle and see if you can tract the source?

Fairly stock problem do what Juffa suggested it works.

Someone here once had a sig that summed it up...

Passenger seat: rattles when empty, squeals when full.

You might like to make sure the seatbelt buckle is in it's holder thingo mounted on the pillar. Sometimes the buckle rattling on the pillar is the source of the noise and not the seat.

just make sure you move the seat a LITTLE forward and TILT/recline it as far back as you can(use some force but not too much)...works a charm....

if you have leather seats like mine make sure you are using a good cleaner/conditioner on them so they dont end up dry or you may cause stretching/tearing when you force it back onto the body of the car...

Factory fitted rattle. I put a towel behind the seat back when the BOV isn't in it.

I'll swear that when I had my last NA 14 years ago I managed to fix the rattle (just before I sold the car) by tightening up something in the seat pivot....

I just remember exactly what I did :frown:
