hmm, mountains Nebo and Glorious will be a fair slug for them... Not trying to be smart mate, but they could struggle up there - certainly won't be able to wind up to the speed limit too often :? At the least it might be better to do it on a weekday with less traffic up there. Just a thought, have fun!

I wasn't having a go muzza2, just suggesting that hitting those roads when it's less busy i.e a weekday, might be a better idea. It would certainly be more relaxing.

While your parents car is called an MG TF, there was also a TF built in the 50's, as pictured below. I've also included pics of a Javelin and Spitfire. Like it or not, the Javelin would struggle on those roads, as would a 1950's era MG TF. A Mk3 Spitfire would be ok, but still...

Like I said previously, have fun!

EDIT: ***pics removed*** Google them if you want to know what they look like.....

Be that as it may Muzza, but I tend to agree with NMX516 when it comes to the Javelin (especially) and the Spitfire (likely) on a very hot day up those hills.

Have fun though.

:? without sounding rude or anything, but just because you work for shannons it doesn't mean you know all about cars, or even those cars.

But you do know a lot about insurance. :P

I wouldn't be risking taking those cars on such a large mountain run, be it fast paced or not.

but thats just IMO.

Whatever happens with the day, have fun. 8)

? ? ?

Why is everyone so catty! Muzza was obviously nice enough to invite you all along to his family and friends car run so I don't understand why everyone is having a go at him and the cars that are going

That is such a nonsensical statement! I love it!
