All are welcome. it's always great to have someone standing around telling you how it should have been done.
See, now that I CAN do! and I will be doing it with an icy cold beer in my hand!
Money can't buy Talent, but it can buy Horsepower and sometimes that's enough

Wahoo for dodgyness !!!! Thank you to all the helping hands ! Jake and Raj (spelling??) Were great hosts. Great to have met some new Melbourneites off the forum and to put faces to names !
Mixxy has had her front number plate removed, Her back plate screwed in again, her contacts on the window swiches cleaned, her windows lubed, and her front pads replaced !!! She is a very happy little Mx5 at the momment.
I didnt break a nail in the process but I did get super sunburnt and need to go find the aloe-vera gel !! Looking foward to the post dodgyness run up the mountian on Thursday !

That would be nice, cos I think I want to change my fuel filter.
Does anyone know how to do that without getting petrol all over yourself?
try clip the fuel hose before removing the fuel filter.

Thanks for the tip.
I followed the workshop manual and changed the filter (when I got home) in around 30 mins. Not hard to do, but the location of the fuel filter is a pain.
It was a good dodgy day today . I didn't get to do much to my own car besides Jake helping me grease up the window rails and finding out that the window motor is about to go. Helped mixxy clean the window contacts and in the process blowing a 30A power window switch fuse .
Was nice meeting and catching up with a new and familiar faces again . catching up
