Sure is Freddy!

I've just arrived at fatty's place, and we're about to head down to Geelong for the night. We'll meet everyone at the Arch at the start of the GOR but feel free to organise a start point as suggested earlier!

See everyone bright and early!!

OK, for those who want to join me to form a mini convoy, I will be at the Shell Service Station/KFC carpark just before the Westgate Bridge sometime before 5am. I will leave at 5am sharp. I reckon it takes about 1.5 hours to get to the arch.

Wish I could be there :(
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Shhh... Don't tell him that, we're going to continue calling him a spanner for his short nose crank issue for atleast a couple more decades, there is plenty of mileage left in this one.

what a great day :D

boags isn't here right now (he's gone into the city for some sightseeing), but i can tell you that he was totally stoked to finally drive the g.o.r.

we had a very spirited run, and what little traffic there was got out of our way. it sure was a blast trying to keep up with rex!!

very nice to meet rex and wuey, both great guys.

i think wuey and boags might have some photos, hopefully we can get them posted up here eh guys?

I only took a couple of pics with the cars lined up next to the arch at the start. Too busy driving! Not sure Boag would want me to post those two photos with him and his girlfriend in them.

I'm glad we started early to avoid the tourists. The few cars that got in our way gave way at the earliest opportunity. The traffic in all coastal towns was like the middle of Bourke St coming back.

One thing for sure, Fatty, Boag and RRdstr are great drivers! I could hardly keep up to them at the twistiest and bumpiest bits.

Have fun at the spurs tomorrow guys!

8)

Wow, what a run we had eh!?

No traffic worth mentioning, a great day, beautiful cars, great company and and fantastic road...

A huge thank-you to Wuey and Rex for coming down for the run. Rex, Kitkat is right, you are a hoon! I couldn't get rid of you when I was in front, and could keep up when I was behind! Thoroughly out-classed really! 8) It was crazy with all of that squeeling right behind me though!

You guys were both great and the young lass and I had a wonderful day, thanks! As always, you were a great host Fatty!

To anyone who hasn't done it, DO IT!!
