WTD Compression ratio's for all NB's

Postby neil d » Thu Dec 21, 2006 12:09 pm

Can somebody supply evidence of what the compression ratio's where for all NB's

I need hard evidence not “I think so” as this is to settle a bet!

Thanks in advance.

There's what, only about 3-400,000 of them?... might take you a while.

I think he means the models, for eg the compression ratio of a NB8A, a 10AE, NB8B and an SE. I'd say that would be only ones that would be different.

I think I have these figures, I'll check.

NB8A - 9.5:1
10AE - 9.5:1
NB8B - 10:1
NB8C - 10:1
SE - 9.0:1

Within that the other limited editions like the Titanium, SP etc all used the standard engine and had the same CR.

Just what I was after PT

More interested in the 98 - 2002 figures and mainly from the standard offerings not the specials

However the SE is incorrect according to this http://autoweb.drive.com.au/cms/A_10103 ... ticle.html

So the bet is still not satisfied.

Re-checked the information. The SE is infact 9.5:1 CR not 9.0 as initially stated. I check the other figures to make sure I didn't make any other typos and they are right.

You'd think I'd get my own car right wouldn't you.
