Ummmm. Until this weekend I thought they were great. They came with the rims I bought (it was wheel and tyre package) so I couldn't complain. They are VERY GOOD for a $89 tyre IN THE DRY! They have a progressive let go, give you a bit of warning and generally hold on when you want them to. They also let go when you want them to...
Then.... It rained on the weekend. I was not in a hurry, but usually drive quickly (not fast, there is a difference). I came up to a round-about that I know to be off camber. I was taking due car and did not expect what happened. As I turned in the car ploughed a bit. *SHEEEET* methinks. I back of a little and whoosh, there goes the rear end. It would have looks great on Fast and Furious Aussie Drift because I caught it and kept going (even though I was doing about 20 at that stage). I've never had that kind of greasy lack of grip in my driving experience - granted, that is only a few years.
So the moral of the story. Great when it isn't raining. Extra caution needs to be taken in the wet - and by extra I mean several times more than you would normally take in the wet.
Would I buy them again........... If I was tight for cash, probably, if not, probably not.
