Ummmm. Until this weekend I thought they were great. They came with the rims I bought (it was wheel and tyre package) so I couldn't complain. They are VERY GOOD for a $89 tyre IN THE DRY! They have a progressive let go, give you a bit of warning and generally hold on when you want them to. They also let go when you want them to... 8)

Then.... It rained on the weekend. I was not in a hurry, but usually drive quickly (not fast, there is a difference). I came up to a round-about that I know to be off camber. I was taking due car and did not expect what happened. As I turned in the car ploughed a bit. *SHEEEET* methinks. I back of a little and whoosh, there goes the rear end. It would have looks great on Fast and Furious Aussie Drift because I caught it and kept going (even though I was doing about 20 at that stage). I've never had that kind of greasy lack of grip in my driving experience - granted, that is only a few years.

So the moral of the story. Great when it isn't raining. Extra caution needs to be taken in the wet - and by extra I mean several times more than you would normally take in the wet.

Would I buy them again........... If I was tight for cash, probably, if not, probably not.

I saw this 240z at Wakefield last thursday. It looked so cool, and the sound from the old school triple carby six was amazing. It was pretty well sorted, doing 1.15s all day.

Also got my front and rear braces fitted the day before hitting the track. It felt a lot more stable and predictable. Had a ball, even though my car was one of the slowest there.

after i had my off in a similar circumstance to yours, i will avoid the cheapies.

hopefully still wont need em for another 5K-10K, and will get something known... probably recomended by the combined experience of the forum!

okay astro -tell me about your swaybar(s) - im after something to stiffen the scorpia up a little, she has more body roll than a 10 foot tinny would on the bay (harbour to you)

i found my nangkangs to be pretty sticky in the rain - well compared to the dunlop direzza dz101s they are anyway, and the dunlops are dear. really dear. Oh dear....

yeh front roll pretty much got rid of all the roll that i use to get when going around round-a-bouts and the rear is a little tighter, im assuming from the rear subframe brace and i can tell when it is sliding out.. so sliding around a round about is quite easy now and alot more fun.

I'm finding the car a lot easier to drive now too because I can transfer the weight of the car around much easier when cornering.

Get one... just the front and see how it goes. If you want to flatten out the ride more then get the rear one too.

Personally id just get a non adjustable but if you're going to take it on the track get the adjustable one.

what size are they? i looked all over whitelines www and it was pretty ordianry, had not a whole lot of data about anything there.

She has seen the track already and does indeed need some roll control :shock: :shock: :shock:

i have a 22mmm non adjustable front sway

the adjustable ones would be the 24mm front and the 16mm rear.
