Where do you buy your OIL Filters from?

Postby Insurgence » Mon Dec 18, 2006 11:55 am

Hello,

I do my own services and want to use genuine oil filters.

Mania has them for $7 which is great.. only that i'm in VIC.

Can anyone recommend a place to get Mazda oil filters for less than $12 (dealer price) ?

Thanks

Preston.

actually it was 11.95 + 1.2 GST = $13.15 :(

Perhaps shipping it from Mania isnt such a bad idea..

Why not just get a better brand like ryco? I would go for one of them before a genuine anyday. And I wouldn't complain about the price, at least it isn't $40 :D

If you are anywhere near Garry and Warren Smith Mazda in Mulgrave, ask for Anton or Ross in the spare parts area. Costs around $10 or about $9 with club membership discount.

Only use Mazda- $10 from Max Kirwan at Preston.

I've been burned with a dodgy Ryco one. It had an air bubble in the cheap rubber seal that burst and sprayed oil everywhere. The Mazda unit has a much better o-ring set-up.
