Bruxner Hwy - Tenterfield to Casino

Postby suzi » Sat Dec 02, 2006 10:50 pm

Ended the drive from Sydney to Gold Coast by cutting across from New England Hwy to Pacific Hwy via Bruxner Hwy last week.

What a GREAT fun road!! :D :D

Me thinks we need organise an overnight run next year so we can do this road again .... soon.

Hey Eric
Trip to Sydney was a $hit drive down the Pac Hwy - roadworks all the way!! Drive was good it was the constant stopping that ruined it although we did have a couple of nice stretches in between I suppose.
Only one lot of roadworks on the way back but it still seemed to take forever. Will let you know when we head to Casino/Tenterfield 'cos I'm definately going back for that road :D

Took about 2 hrs to clean Suzi's nose - never seen so many dragonflys & I haven't gone near the radiator yet - YUK.

New tyres went brilliantly too :D :D :D

That is one of the problems driving I/S on week-days. It's rare these days to find roadworks on Sundays, but you have to trade this advantage off against the lack of availability of parts/spares if this is likely to be an issue (...it used to be for me years ago driving older cars than I do now). How did you go with the trucks...?

Trucks - what trucks?? Didn't run into many & those that we did were (thankfully) near a passing lane anyway.
