That sounds pretty good, then - I may just do the same. I thought you'd have to coat the entire door in the stuff but if you don't and can get good results from just a bit in the right places, then I think I'll do it. I was under the impression you had to basically coat the door in it, including fill in the air gaps on the inner part of the door (just behind the door trim).

Don't get me wrong. It would be better if you did the whole door. But temporarily just behind the speaker is a good stopgap measure and it is certainly better than none at all.

Got a JL tube sub, 4 channel amp, HU and sp[eakers in my car. they are great...the tube sub sits in the cabin itself and not in the boot. with good speakers and amp its great. Hunt around...i didn't want to comprimise the already tiny boot space with a sub box, so i got my 6' tube sub.

It sits behind/under the passenger seat. However the seat has to be moved a fair bit forward. When i have a passenger that wants alot of legroom I just pull it up and keep it wedged between the headrest of the seat and my rollbar on the parcel tray area.

you need yourself a set of NEW PIONEER PREMIER TS-SW841D 8\" SHALLOW MOUNT SUBWOOFER's

theres small and provide alot of bass check them out at there site, im going to purchase 2 of these soon for my car too
