The vynil ones on the NA/NB can be repaired by plastic welding.... I don't know how you'd go with the farbic ones, maybe it can be sewn up??

Sorry to hear about that.
Just as a side note. Did they slash the roof to steal something from the car. If so, it is a good idea not to leave anything in plain view when leaving the car. I did leave a few things in the cockpit and had three windows smashed as punishment.

A good auto trimmer should be able to fix it for you.
The way they would probably do it is firstly bring the torn bits together and glue on a patch underneath to seal the tear, then he will probably hand stitch the tear together to prevent it from opening up again and also to make sure the patch doesn't come adrift.
Should cost from around $50-$100 to fix and he can probably do it while you wait.

I got a price for a new roof FYI - comes to $2970 fully installed!
Id hate to think what it would cost to repair/replace the hardtop on a NC if the softop costs that amount.
Condolensces for the slashed roof, id be seriously pissed off to! May the mungrel die a slow painful death!
