Tightening roof connection?

Postby maxwolfie » Tue Nov 21, 2006 10:45 pm

Is there a way to \"tighten\" down the roof on the NA6, basically the connection points between the roof and the windscreen are starting to rattle against each other pretty bad on the drivers side. the \"clamp\" on the roof itself is screwed in tight to the roof frame, and the \"catcher\" on the windscreen is also tight

It's a little hard to explain :|

Wolfie, you can adjust the level of torque the clamps are giving out... if thats what your asking...

All that you need to do is (with the clamp open) flip forward a little cover plate over a long hexagonal bolt, then,
wind the bolt to a point where it clamps more firmly, but not so tight that you cant close it.

its a pretty simple adjustment but it might take a few attempts to get it right.
Sorry, i cant post pics or i would show you.

There is also a little plastic nipple to cover the locating pin on each latch. Maybe one of yours is missing?
