Is it me or are those rims on our Pommy friend's ride wider at the back compared to the front?

Btw...what are people's opinions on running skinnier rubber at the front and wider rubber at the back? ie 195 front, 205 back. Would that improve turn-in? Considering there isn't as much rubber at the front.
