Hey guys,
ive been following your forum for a couple of weeks now as i have recently purchased a nice red eunos roadster. Now when i say nice what i really mean is crap...it is in really poor condition but i am going to fix it up.
there are a number of things on my list but at the top is my cracked centre console. it is irrepairable and pops off randomly while i am driving so i bought a new one.
anyway i was wondering if anyone has painted their centre console, and if so what did they use.
i've read that vinyl dye is the easiest and most effective thing to use, is this true?
thx for the help,
Box

Hey Box_of
Welcome to the forums. Just painted my centre console. I wanted a smooth finish so I did a lot of sanding before hand and then I sprayed it with plastic primer and then filler and primer to smooth it out more. Then you just put on normal colour and then clear coat it. After approx a week you buf it back and it looks shmick.
