AVO Turbo Kit

Postby JSE » Thu Nov 16, 2006 10:14 pm

What do you get in an AVO Turbo Kit ... I understand you can get the kits with or without a computer and other goodies.

Can someone tell me the different kits they sell for the NA6s and what is included in the kit more importantly?

Thanks

I had an AVO kit fitted earlier this year and I am more than happy with it so far . Mine was a stage 3 kit which is the best they do . This bit of info off there
web page may help answer your question . If not i suggest ringing them.

I spent ages emailing and ringing them to get decent info, only took me 3 months. They didnt answer too many questions well, and just couldnt giveme a straight answer but eventually after .. o n e a t a t i m e...
If you do ring them speak with Shane.

Im trying to remember off the top of my head from 10 months ago, but ive got it all written down somewhere.
i think its something like this.. :? *scratches head*

Mech kit-
just I/C, I/C piping, hoses, clamps, turbo, manifold dump pipe, front pipe with air filter and piece to attach your airflow meter to.

Stage 1-
is the mechanical kit with the single injector and piggy back

Stage 2 -
is the mechanical kit with the larger injectors bigger fuel pump, no bov or ecu.

Stage 3-
is the mechanical kit with the larger injectors, bigger fuel pump ,bov, and link ecu

I'll have to check, but its something like that.

I only got the mech kit and did the rest myself to save money as well as the install, its basically a stage 3 with out the mark up.

Only problem is the install isnt straight forward, for a \"bolt on kit\" there was a lot of stuffing around, cutting, rebending, different hoses, wrong fittings..etc etc.. alot of annoying little bits, for the money you pay for AVO i thought it would have been easier. But they dont call it modifying for nothing!

But after all that im v.happy!
