It's soo close now you can taste it! Make sure there are as many cameras on hand as 5ers! We want thorough lists and explanations of everything undertaken!

 No problems with photos, but it takes forever to pixelate the faces of the guilty parties

Anyone who doesn't know how to get to my place needs to send me a PM for the address.

Those who are clay barring - there is a relatively new DIY carwash in Penrith on Peachtree Rd opposite the museum of fire. well equipped and does a good job.

Anyone contemplating body repairs or general servicing - make sure you have all the necessary bits with you - wet n dry sandpaper, primer, bog, oil, filters etc etc.

I have two spare axle stands at present, and from past experience ramps are not much use, so if you need to work under your car and have a pair of axle stands bring em along. Dont forget something for lunch (BBQ) and something to drink. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us, but we have shelter for 4 cars at a time if it is wet...

Looking forward to a fun day :D

I'll be working tomorrow, so I'll see some of you at Mania before you head off to the Dodgy Day but won't be attending myself. :(

Have fun - don't lose any bolts (or fingers). :D

Bummer Andre - maybe next time!

In case anyone has trouble finding me my mobile is 0412201115.

Forecast is for a few showers and a cool 18 degrees, so with luck we will stay dry and cool... could be windy though :?

Well, we came, we saw, we bodged!!

Great day, excellent company, all jobs attempted completed to everyone's satisfaction. You simply can't ask for more than that!

Good roll up:

Maxwolfie - checked rear brake pads & caliper for annoying squeek. Solved by roughing pad surface, but returned later. Cleaned throttle body & reset idle, applied top secret JDM cold air intake mod!

Rodent - fitted new shifter boots and topped up turret oil.

Garry - fixed pwer window problem.

Eggbox - cleaned throttle body and reset idle.

Irwin8t3r - replaced diff oil and welded tail pipe tip to stop rattle.

Irwin83r's brother Paul - found diff leak (seal - but Mazda parts closed by then :( )replaced diff oil and tried to steal brother's wheel rims!

Stan The Man - rubbed back, primed and fitted spoiler to new bumper.

Matt, Hayden, Dave & Gareth came along to lend a hand and socialise, and I worked on prepping the race car's nose cone for repainting in between taking pics and cooking etc! And Mrs Bigdog cooked up a yummy batch of scones too! Hope I haven't forgotten anyone...

A very pleasant day all round. I'll process the piccies tomorrow and post em up. Thank you all for coming - I enjoyed myself immensely!

Seconded maxwolfie!
Thank you Mr and Mrs bigdog for your hospitality, snags and scones, and not to mention that gearbox oil (used half the bottle in that turret!). Shifts buttery smooth now, which I'm kinda still getting used to - quite liked the precise \"snick-snick\" of the gears without any oil! 8)

So Greg you actually got a dodgy CAI done? Any pics??

I had a very successful dodgy day. I managed to fix my noisey window motor with a $6 can of spray grease and a twist of the pliers. At my service yesterday Mazda told me I needed a new motor assembly. Gotta love a bit of dodge.

A big thanx once again to Mr and Mrs Bigdog for laying on the hospitality and opening up their home and that wonderous shed to all and sundry. Good company and lots of successful dodge, cant ask for more really. 8)

Are the cars with clean throttle bodies idling OK now?

Sorry Bigdog for not making it out there. I went car stereo shopping and bought amp, speakers, head unit and that took me all day.
The car's now in the garage half pulled apart, hopefully I'll get it done tomorrow.

Sounds like you guys had another great day, look forward to seeing the pics.
