fixing NA6 AFM

stuffed up an AFM by taking out the screws, oops.. just attempting to fix it up now. no need to worry, the Mario Kart is fine & dandy. was done ages ago & found a replacement AFM fortunately :)

looks like all thats needed is soldering of these 3 points back onto the board, but whats this extra bit hanging off the 3rd point? wheres it meant to go?

The \"extra bit hanging off\" is what gets soldered to the arm that comes from the socket.

where the end of that arm touches the board normally stays free of solder

this is the arm that it's already half attached to? & i don't actually see the point of this bit, where both ends of this bit is attached to the same arm & nothing else.

the strip is (should be) attached to the PCB. There should be 3 such strips.

I don't know why they use two contact points but they do...
