sagging help please?

Help my car is leaning to the right! Can anyone advise whats wrong with my NA8, Iâ€™ve noticed in the last week my car has sagged 10mm on the front and rear RHS. Iâ€™ve also had a clunking noise at the front right wheel. Iâ€™ve pulled the front right wheel off and had a good look at the bushes, springs, shocks and ball joints and canâ€™t really see anything wrong.
Are these problems likely to be related?
Should I take it to a suspension place?
Can anyone recommend a good workshop to go to?

Sounds like it's time for aftermarket springs and shocks for you i'm afraid. Plenty of options to suit your budget and requirements

I'd like to lower my mx5, but preferably 30mm both sides not 10mm on one side. :shock:

Is this normal wear and tear for a na8 it done about 135,000km?

After 215 000 km and I have no sag. even had it on the corner scales and
no major differance betwwen corners

Didn't clubmans have a diffrent set up to the run of the mill NA8?

I they have Bilstien shock stiffter springs( I think ) and a lower ride height (about 10mm) So Yes differant than your run of the mill NA8's

Mine was like that when bought at 116,000km. Mostly one occupant in it most of its life so it had sagged a bit. A set of Kings springs fixed it.

Did you replace the shocks as well? mine seem in good shape.

Replaced all the shocks with Koni adjustables about 2,000km later :roll:

when one of the originals died. Do the lot at the same time if you can afford it because it's just as much effort (labour) to do it later.

I'd really like to fit tein SS's, but the bank account's at bit dry of funds at the moment.

10mm... just on the right/drivers side you say??

hmmmmm

cut back on the beer and patato chips

im happy with my tien ss's. most other are. will you be able to fit them your self?
there are cheaper spring shock setups that arnt bad out there too.
