Get them to check the diff housing and angel wings, they crack and brake during severe accidents.

As Rodent said Three Way - take it to Mania at Hornsby and get them to check it over.

I am in Castle Hill too - over in Castlewood Estate.

Definitely follow the advice to go to Mania at Hornsby Heights - go via Galston Gorge and Kookaburra Rd, is the second street on the left just as you come out of the Gorge. Get Daniel to check it out for you. The best advice you can get on MX5s.

Could be a bent axle or driveshaft, or one of your wheels could be buckled.
Drive the car and have someone follow you and check out the rear end as you're driving.

Hoorah for castle Hill'ers! im over at duncraig in kellyvile.

Take it to Mania dude. They are probably the best mx5 mechs in Sydney. after having some bad experiences with mechanics in castle hill i have never hesitated to take it back to mania.

The ONLY good mechanic that I go to and know of in Castle Hill is a fairly large place just behind the MAW (motorcycle accessory warehouse) on Victoria Rd. forget its name though...giv us a wave or toot if u see a blue na6 driving past

ooh and imo it sounds like something to do with the suspension/axels/angelwings
