konis on mx5s

Postby ndragun » Fri Oct 13, 2006 4:33 pm

another quick question:

The adjustable konis that a lot of the NA guys are running - what is \"adjustable\"? Is it just rebound - or is it bump and rebound together?

Or at the very least - do these things have a model number - so i can go for a wander on the koni site and find the info i need myself?

I think just rebound. I bought them at Fulcrum so I suppose they will have the info you're after.

im pretty sure they are only bump. the were for the NB anyway.

KYB has bump and rebound(which is another reason i chose KYB over koni)

The Fulcrum part #:

8041-1204SPT (rear)
8041-1203SPT (front)

I think 8041 is the model.

Rebound only adjustment.

I see you can get Koni spring/Shock setups now.

You can also adjust to one of three perch height settings (not whilst on the car though). NA model shock only.

Not entirely true, I have NB shocks that have grooves in them.
