Adaptronic Computer - complete Autotuning 100% all the time

Postby ZenArcher » Fri Oct 06, 2006 9:17 pm

Anyone seen these? or using one?

http://www.adaptronic.com.au/overview.php

They show tests on a NA6 and also a Greddy Turbo NA6.

Apparently the computer is in constant autotune and all you need to do is drive it and it will sense the changes needed and make them automatically. Well, that is the way I understand it from what they say.

Mark at Dumar at Berowra (the place that has done the last 2 NSW dyno days) swears that these things are fantastic.

It's not quite that simple, but they are a really good ECU for the money.

I've been playing with one in a turbo subaru over teh last month and it's pretty awesome for the low price.

You still need some tuning knowledge and you've still got to setup all your timing maps but teh best part of teh adaptronic is they are so damn versatile (might be why adapt is part of the name).

After sales service is GREAT! If you have any problems, you can usually get in contact with Andy (the guy who designed and developed it) and he can sort it out in a few minutes. He was also able to mae some modifications to his base programming, and email to us to upload into the ECU.

I'm in no rush to replace my current ECU as it's working perfectly, but I'd definately consider the Adaptronic in my next car.
When results speak for themselves - don't interrupt.
