don't you worry, Melb were the pioneer of the dodgy days.

Yeah but they did them in a nice comfy workshop with the assistance of a Mazda mechanic - nothing dodgy about that :D

Melb may have created the dodgy day... but UA perfected it

sabretooth wrote:Jules, no worries with the fixing - I was happy to. Just a shame about the judgment call on the AC - that's so bizarre how it happened - I guess the compressor bracket doesn't like being leaned on!

Funny thing that. The leak occurred where the steel elbow meets the crimp to rubber hose connection. I took it off and blew whilst Tab looked for the leak. Settle guys! No idea what those hoses cost. Hopefully a lot better than the $135.00 for the damn thermo fan sensor!!!!!

Yep, I remember the first Melbourne dodgy bros. services a few years ago.

Posted elsewhere but once again, thanks to Uncle Arthur for opening his place - I would have said goodbye personally but I believe he was swearing at the gearbox under his car ...

Good chance to meet people from the forums! Let's hope there'll be another one in the near future.

The SPy has your new switch, Jules.

And thanks for the lifter, kitkat. I found out how to pull these suckers apart and will see if I can resurrect them.

Many thanks Sabre. I'll PM him.
BTW, the A/C breakage seems to be just the fitting, so perhaps I can get away with a cheap fix?
