MX had a heart attack, took the shopping trolly.
Can fit lots of bags of shopping in a 3, a respectable 1.18.59 on a pretty ordinary day.

ahhhh.....you brought the shopping trolley ROPFLMHO.
not bad for a 3 at all.
ophhh don't tell me. you told snoopy you were going out for a quick drive to get the paper ....LMFAO. thats just too funny.
Tragic to hear the 5 is having a heart attack though. Thats a little concerning.

That was a great day
I did a PB too, not as fast as Russell, but great for my 5th time out.
Way back when I first tried going out on track just over a year ago I did 1:34.
Today I did a 1:14:94.
This was thanks to:
- my husband and my sponsor - Carco Automotive - who built the best car - a mighty turbo that has so much more. Wait till next time
- Peter Browning - for lending me the gear stick out of Fanta when mine decide to stuff up part way through the morning.
- Casey - for lending me the shirt off his back when my sleeves were found to be too short.
- the brave marshals and flaggy - that was wild weather.
- the ladies up stairs - nice timing.
This a message to all the woman out there - GIVE IT A GO - if I can drive on a track day so can you!!!!

Well, apart from the horrendous winds and the occasional bit of rain, it was a very good day.
Only about 35 cars turned up, so we all had plenty of laps.
My SP went great, but my driving wasn't the best and could only get a 1:13.59, which is not a PB, but hopefully, I'll be more awake for the next track day.
The drive back was very interesting though.
There were stacks of trees and branches littering the freeway, along with smoke from the bushfires. Made for an interesting ride home, but the winds had also brought down a lot of power lines and when I went to the servo at Pheasants Nest, their power had been cut and so I couldn't get any fuel! Drove home on fumes.
While driving back, there were a number of emergency vehicles also going from place to place and trying to get through the traffic on the freeway.
It's amazing to see an ambulance with its lights flashing cruising behind some dill in a car in the right lane, and the dill not bothering to look in his rear view mirror and forcing the ambulance to slow down, instead of going into the left lane and letting him past.
I saw this happen not once, but many times.
When are drivers going to start looking in their rear view mirrors and stop hogging the right lane?

I had to miss this one as I flew back in at 8am that morning from my honeymoon (I tried pretty hard to find a way to still go but no luck). So what were the times like with all the wild weather around, did much rain come down in the arvo?
I'll just have to wait it out to December now, looking forward to it already.

i was just happy to make it home after my cars performance on the freeway.. yay for electrical problems!
day was well run as always weather was a tad on the average side as was my performance
first set of laps out was my best, car didnt miss a beat and managed a 1.15.7 or something (not as good as last weeks 1.14.5)
second set of laps.. well... i got stuck behind a white 240z that didnt want to let me past so not much fun there but my car again managed to not miss untill coming in at the end of the last lap
third set of laps i was itchin to make up for my last set and booted it out of the dummy grid fanged round the kink and up to the first hard corner... forgetting semi slicks dont grip when cold nore when the weather isnt so pretty
so it was off into the dirt straight out of the grid!! lol total ass after that my wheel alignment was so far out straight was now 45degs off and low and behold my magical electircal problems came back in full force..
so that was the end of my... some what below average day
still had fun and caught up with some of the friendly faces so wasnt a waste of a day, just could of been better.... alot better
