BD4's track day

Postby irwin83r » Sat Sep 16, 2006 12:14 pm

hey guys tagged along to a BD4's track day with the mini club at wake field park. had a blast as usual and LOADS of track time which was good :D

thought i'd post the final times on here as there was a big mix of jap cars there that made it interesting see how they all went agaisnt each other..

though i should point out my friend in his bog stock WRX was lapping alot quicker than a guy in a mildly modified car of the same make/model... just reinforces what people always say about its not jut the car but the driver.

i ended up on a 1.14.5 something

hmm no i dont swing that way sorry.. wasnt there for lads..

BUT i did get plenty of laps :D was very laid back and they sent us out in 30min stints. but was often a bit of traffic so some times hard to get a clean lap.

there was mention of a blue 5 that cleaned up at one of their last track days this wouldnt be you would it?

That was me but in the white car. BD4's are my mechanics.

Great time in an NA 1800 Irwin. Are you still running street tyres? I imagine some of the more powerfull cars there where somewhat surprised.

nah running on kumho v70A semi's. make a huge difference :D

but can see why people say you really need an LSD now :P was bummer about the coil packs over heating and dying though.. id like to say imight of even beaten the 350Z and been fastest NA then but...

so next on the list is an LSD and an ECU that should make things more interesting

you be at their next track day? or at the mx5 club day next week?
