Just got my exhaust system installed (With pics)

Postby JSE » Fri Sep 15, 2006 5:59 pm

2.25 inch cat-back system with 3\" inch exit tip and a hi-flow cat ... all for a reasonable price. PM me if you would like details of where I got it. $500 installed...or $260 for the cat-back installed with your choice of exit tip (over 30 different tips to choose from). The place I got it from also did my old man's type R exhaust a few years back and I am ahppy to say they still provide quality service at very very reasonable pricing. After much thought about whether to get the SP Motorsport system I decided that $800+ is just a bit too much money for just a cat-back :?

Noticeable increase in torque and throttle response...not much extra power noticed above 4k rpm however havn't done alot of spirited driving yet...

Just thought I'd share it with you as I am one happy chap!

Looks great
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Took the car for some spirited driving today, even though it was a humid and hot day, can notice a big difference in response and increased high rpm level accelerating power. One of the best bang for buck mods I have done, its up there with the Mania intake.
