1. NB8b has no HLA's.
2. i HAD the same problem since i bought my nb8b. i tried EVERYTHING. after a while, i thought to use a lighter grade of oil. i now use penrite 5-40 and the problem is basically gone.
3. i done an engine 'flush' using auto gearbox fluid. and that made a big difference. ie. drain 1 L engine oil. put 1L auto fluid in the engine and leave it in there for 200km. DRIVE IT LIGHTLY for this time. after that do a full oil/filter change.
NB8B constant ticking (like lifters) noise!! Help!!
