hahahah good stuff!!!, yea i was thinking of trying to make one over the weekend. I'll see how i go first then once i fail i'll see if we can get yours to fit

An update on the gearbox; i've got this little noise upon engaging from stand still. Its either the clutch vibrating a bit or the flywheel. This had hairline cracks in it that i didnt get machined out, i'm hopeing that these arent getting worse - the last thing i need is the flywheel cutting off my legs if its disintegrates. :?

Ummm, if I had cracks in my flywheel I'd park it until fixed! Unbelievable amount of energy in a flywheel at speed, and the damage they can do is not something you want to see. Pull it out and replace it before you regret it Sheck, especially after all the other work you've done on the car. :(

yea, thats what i'm thinking. Cheers mate.
I'll prolly dirve it around still but not hard, i think it shoud be able to be machied out as its on the clamping surface. Probably easier and cheaper to get a new (second hand) one though.

Cheers

Get the 1.8L one if you haven't upgraded already. Larger surface to clamp on.

I'll be going that path when my clutch dies, and I don't have 13PSI.

No point really, that would mean new flywheel and new clutch!!! Screw that kind of moneis! hehehhe

Besides my current clutch will hold anything i will be able to throw at it, about 800-850kg of clamping pressure along with a 4 puck ceramic sprung center clutch. I dont hink i'll be able to overpower that anytime soon!!

Cheers though!

You've put that clutch on a stock flywheel??? Plus you blew you're last gearbox clutch slapping around QR????

No wonder you've developed stress fractures!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remind me to NEVER drive behind or beside your car, EVER!!!!
