Offset ... need help. Will this wheel fit an NA

Postby JSE » Tue Sep 12, 2006 7:32 pm

I would like to know what the maximum/minimum offset of a wheel that will fit onto a stock NA6...

I am looking for new wheels but I am not sure if they will fit due to the offset and all that jazz since they have a fair bit of dish on them...

Thanks in advance

alot of the US (drift) guys run a 15x8 in a 0 offset, but comfotably without rubbing i think you can go a 7\" wide in a +20-15. Might need some fender rolling if your suspension is on the soft side or if your really low.

Post some pics and let us see how they look!!!

35mm offset should fit easily, the stock offset on an NA is 45mm however those wheels are to big and to wide to be legal for an NA.

I don;t mind about legality issues...I just need to know if they fit or not :) I also have some 10mm wheel spacers if needed...

The wheels don't have a large 'dish' as the offset says 35/45 it is the spokes that have a large curve in them thus allowing a large 'lip' with the appearance of a large 'dish'. Hope this helps.

hmmm...just measured the old school looking rims sitting in the shed, 15x7 +9 offset on 195/50, I too wonder if these would fit on a stock NA with stock camber. My feeling is no but would be good if someone could clarify. Cheers Minh

I think they'll look quite good. However looks are very subjective.......especiallywith the subject of wheels.
Our pommy friend from MX5Nutz.com had some very dischy wheels. 35mm offset. Best dischy wheels i've seen personally.

also check the weight. how heavy are those things.

spacers......gawd getting better every minute......may i suggest you get your No plate off your sig.

Yeah, I saw these on Miata.net early this year on another ride out there.

Its by Rota, I thought they looked absolutely awesome!

If I wasnt going JDM on my ride I would have bought these puppies by now.
