I've got a whole new LSD centre plus housing to get relapped, and then the whole bundle goes into the car to replace to old one (using the existing driveshafts).

Apparently not a difficult job, but involves lots of swearing trying to lift the diff inton place.

There's nothing at all wrong with the old one - it's just a standard 1.6 open diff.

I'll be open to offers from interested purchasers.

ok sweet... i think i might be in a the market for a new diff... were having funny sounds comin out of ours and i pulled it semi apart on the weekend to have a look. When i put it back together i found a gear tooth on the ground :shock:

It all started happening after hitting a possum :evil:

Kitkat, not sure how much $$ you want to spend, but I have a cusco 1.6L diff, complete with housing, to get rid of.

thanks for the offer Rhys but i dont think i have that much $$ to spend :frown:
I just recently bought myself a canon 350D :mrgreen:



Im still not 100% sure its the diff making noises though i know i do need to reset the backlash, it still drives, theres just some clucky noises every now n then.

Im thinking the funny noises im hearing (the ones the possum caused) could be to do with brakes/rotors, it sounds like a wire clicking noise, hard to explain.
