If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

That looks hot! Both the car and the girl :P

Any idea who makes those rims? Still looking for some deep dish rims.

Rims are made by www.rs-watanabe.co.jp

Stock type offsets aren't that difficult to source second hamd, but the dished offsets are rare-as over here in Oz.

Thanks Babalouie, had a feeling they were Watanabes. which is why I like them. Never realised they had deep dish versions of it.

They don't offer such a huge range of offsets in the MX5 stud pattern anymore, but they are happy to make a custom offset if you are patient and have really, really deep pockets :)

Here's their off the shelf sizes for MX5:

For NA/NB
F/R F8FS14-65 +30
F/R F8FS14-60 +35
F/R B 14-60 +21
F/R F8FS15-65 +35
F/R F8FS16-70 +35
F/R F8FS15-70 +36
F/R F8 16-70 +30
F/R F8FS14-65 +35
F/R F8FS14-60 +35
F/R F8FS15-65 +35
F/R F8FS15-65 +35
F/R F8FS16-70 +27 .

For NC F/R:F8F16-65 +40

As you can see they really don't offer the wild +15, +10 offsets unless they are special order.

Yeah, but the lights have all these exposed bits and jutting edges....reminds me of Johnny 5 from that movie Short Circuit :)

Surely there's gotta be a more sexah low-pro kit... :?

Babs, I've noticed some of these Jap-modded Roadsters have flush-mounted lights that seem to look quite ok with the car. Do you know where I can find some info on them?

Dunno...I know Gurglr had some on his old NA6, but he didn't know where they came from. I've always suspected that it was some kind of Japanese kit that modified NSX headlights to fit the MX5, since the lens looked similar...
