I wondered what happened to you Chris, couldn't believe my luck when I saw you guys coming out of the pits so late in the race just as I came through turn one. What a great race the 1 hour is.
We need to get organised with the MG guys for the October meeting. They are genuinely keen for us to have some dedicated mx5 or mazda cup type races. They wanted to hear back from us on what numbers we might be able to rustle up. Is anyone interested?
By the way I was in the silver mx5 with \"red Mx5.com\" on the side. Next meeting I will be back in our trusty red mx5, which will be transferring from targa duty to circuit work for a while.
cheers
Steven

yeah the last 15 minutes were a great dice with two lots of 4 or 5 MX5's together!!! I was watching the forward.......then back progress of our car with you lot all together. It was great to see the different styles through turn 9 and there were a few \"heart in mouth\" moments when one tried up the inside of one or two others only to balls it up in the middle  and see all the work undone down the next straight. Great racing!!!

As for the MG weekend in October we will be there for sure with 2 cars (hoping this time not to hit each other again........), Steve in the red rocket (better not be faster than the Silver one!!), Nick and Matilda with both cars, CT hopefully, Lou should have his car ready?, the Maniac's with black beauty, Bruce with the his silver car, dont know if Brian and Brad would be interested?? Plus there should be a few more starters if its a Mazda cup style. Val is very keen and should have her new car ready by then, plus Scott (rev dr) should get a few more RX7's to the grid. Plus a big invite to the QLD guys and girls!!!

Should be an awesome weekend and be warming up a little by then at Wakefield!!

Hopefully the new car will be going by then...would be a good shakedown for it...

Have started a new thread about this.

Most of us up here agree, it's really a very boring track, especially after Eastern Creek.

On the up side, we get 25 odd MX5's in a race, so it's not all bad news. We'll come to a Wakefield if some of you guys come to a Morgan Park meeting. Knocks 2hrs off the trip from Sydney too. Only a lazy 10hrs for you now.
