Ah!, I was starting to think we'd taken a wrong turn and wandered into the Queensland 24hr
Went for a drive and there were slow cars everywhere, why are NC's so common . . . must be NC = Normally Cardiganed.

Rhysk and OMY005 took some. Hopefully they'll post them up in the next day or so.

No dramas today Sabretooth.

I think he got some laps in (over the day) but he has developed a penchant for cleaning his windscreen with glycol. :frown:

apart from that the only other casualties over the day were the odd pair of jocks

Based on some very rough times, I was running about 2 sec quicker per lap on Sprint - Hopefully we'll get timing gear for the next one...

Couldn't keep up with the SPs down the straight but higher corner exit speeds will do it every time.

Had a blast. Thanks again to Abyss & co for organising & running the day!

Yee-haaaaaa :P :P :P

What a fantastic afternoon of automotive masochism  ...Like ASE05, I arrived with 80km on the tripmeter......and left with 250km!!!! That's 170 race km....and a tank of fuel

I really enjoyed the extended sessions where we did inexcess of 10 laps per session...you could really get in the groove.

Congrats to Abyss (Peter) and the other volunteers who made the afternoon such a success.

Bring on the photos!!!

Hmmm.....knew he was getting a bit hot now and then.....radiator is a bit crook.

Boags needs (to plan) a huge dodgy day so we can sort out his timing and other mechanical woes.

MEH, all went well. I had a great day and nothing broke :D . Got a bit of a fright with spongey brakes in the first set but thanks to Geoff (mazlot) and JBT got them bleeded and topped up, and she stopped very well after that.

Alck alas my timing woes are not over. It seems that the marker attached to the block that gives you the reading has moved, so we have NO IDEA what the timing is set to untill that is fixed. And yes, i need a new radiator, the temp was getting up there after a few laps.

It was a very relaxing and fun day of tyre shredding and car thrashing... And yes JBT, i need to have a dodgey day.... SOON.

Cheers Peter S. and all involved, i'll be at the next one for sure.

I will be selling the one out of my blue car very soon. It is perfect, I just need a bigger one for race purposes.
