Sounds like maybe we need to look at a weekend in Late October perhaps? That would make it available to everyone who has posted interest so far.

What I'll do is start the list and also start some planing around late October unless you guys want otherwise.

Well day night middle of the week any time I can be made free to have a go at lake side. Also at total driver did you guys used to run track days at Darlington Park and does any one know if you can still run on it?

Alot of people have said it is better than morgan park

Also does any one know any thing about carnell raceway at Stanthorpe and the track at the Holden Performance Driving Centre? Would love to have a go at either of these but their is little info on the net.

Total Driver did the days at Darlington, which I fortunate enough to have done, but they are no more. The circuit is closed permanently.

A few of us did a day at Carnell last year with Toowoomba Sporting Car Club. Good little circuit. Very tight and well suited to MX5's.

Not sure if any outsiders get to use the Holden Centre down near Jabobs Well.

The club did a track day at the Holden Driver Training centre at Jacobs Well back in about 1999. The track was fun but it's not very developed and is a lot like the short track at Morgan Park to drive. I believe they just ask too much to hire the track.

It was also very abrasive on tyres, a couple of cars needed new ones :shock:
