[QLD] Karting: Saturday 5th August @ Kingston park

Postby sirbob » Fri Jul 28, 2006 2:52 pm

Ok peoples, the details for our awesome night of karting goodness are:

When: Saturday 5th August; 6.45pm-10.00pm

Where:Kingston Park Raceway, 20 Mudgee St, Kingston

How Much: $90pp (Includes helmet hire and licence)

Details:
1 Practice Session
3 Races
1 Final

Each session is 12mins

I need a minimum of 14 confirmed people before monday so i know whether to fork out the $270 deposit or not. There are two other groups also on that night, one finishing a little earlier than us and another running a the same time. Hence there will be no public hire that evening, with our group alternating with the other a session about.

For further info, please call me (Bob) on 0400 845 087.

To make life easier, please confirm by PM so i know for sure if you are coming or not. Again, this is open to anybody who wants to come, club or not, mx5 driver or fully sik drift hero skyline bro.

See you all there!

to those who care: The best that archerfield would offer is $80 for 1 practice, two races 1 final, each 15 laps on the short circuit (about 30sec/lap) then you still have to pay helmet hire and liscence on top of that!

Not for $90

Not for $80 either.

Thanks all the same.

PT

And everybody else...

Currently i have the following confirmed go karters...

Sirbob + 1 Friend
PT
Rhysk
Vak82
SPy + a few maybes

I need a minimum of 14 to get the race package, however, if we do not get that many then the plan is to show up at kingston park and buy a couple of single sessions and have a go with the people who show up.

Either way we are still going to go karting... it just looks like we are not going to get the race package.

I will finalize the details this afternoon as the whether we are going for the race package or not and post as soon as i know. If we want the package then i have to pay a deposit before COB today, but i am not going to pay if i cant garentee that we will have enough for a full grid.

So invite all your friends and tell me ASAP how many are coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Note, if we do not get the race package then i am tempted to go to archerfield as a second option if its easier to get to for people...)

Just thinking, if we can only get about 5-7 people together, why don't we sign up with the Friday Night challenge and also compete with the general public? I believe it's around the same price and similar setup. The only difference is that the general public will make up the remaining numbers for our group.

[QLD] Go Karts: Kingston Park 7.00pm 5th August

Postby sirbob » Tue Aug 01, 2006 6:36 pm

Hey everybody...

Well the enivitable has occurred...

I have cancelled our group booking for Kingston Park on the 5th due to a lack of numbers. We will instead meet casually at Kingston Park at 7.00pm and have a go from there with whoever feels like coming.

The pricing will be different since it will be based on public session hire. The options are below:

Power Pack: 2 Sessions @ $45
Adrenalin Pack: 4 Sessions @ $75

See how we feel on the night, but it doesnt matter which we take, you could take the two sessions and watch the other two if you wish, etc.

Hope to see you all there!!!!!!
