Late reminders

Postby hillsend » Tue Jul 25, 2006 8:57 am

I was just wondering if anyboby else has been receiving late reminders for events with the Queenland club. I just received a reminder to Lavender farm at 5.00am Tuesday the 25th. Should I ring someone and tell then there is something wrong with their system.

Contact Keith about it. It hasn't happened to me that i can recall, but it might be a glitch he'd like to know about.

Did you go to the run anyway, or did you forget?

I found a notice about the run in my inbox when I arrived home from the run :) . There were a couple of notices though in the days/weeks prior. Contact Ruby95 by PM to advise him.

I wish the club would NOT use that Yahoo system they have. I never get emails from it as they seem to get filtered by Hotmail.

Would be better for them to setup a proper forum somewhere if they want to communicate digitally.

Anyhoooo... thats my 2c worth, and I am sure someone will come back saying I should join the commitee etc etc etc.. and yes you are correct I should.

Cheers

Wayne

Alternatives HAVE been recommended previously and vetoed by previous administrators.

That said perhaps it is an issue worth raising again.

My work banns/filters any thing from yahoo groups mail. All deemed inappropriate material. So I have to check my messages from the club at home.

Congratulations Wayne!!!

Jim, Mark and myself have just voted you for the NEW Gold Coast Chapter Leader! Darby would too, but he's still running back from Boonah! (His car's still behind him though, proving that even on foot, the rear of his SP has still yet to be seen :P )

You guys do realise Wayne was the NSW Capitain don't you?
