EOI - [VIC] Drag Day at Heathcote Race way 27th of August.
well as the title Says.
I am looking for Expressions of Intrest for day at the Drags.
I need a mimium of 30 Drivers with Cars, Maxium of 50 Drivers.
The day starts at 11am and finished at 4pm with as many runs as we can fit in.
I will be running a Comp for the fastest MX-5 on the day in several classes. Everyone has a chance.
Money will be required upfront. but the est cost at this point is about $40 plus lunch will be on top of that and spectators at about $10.
and if we get 50 cars then we will get a further discount.
At this point im just wanting to see numbers will will confirm all details in the next week or so.

Is this all that are interested in consuming petrol while it is still available?

Re:
The object of drag racing is to improve on previous times .... not necessarily to thrash it.
Chances are if you asked one of the super sprinters do they thrash their cars on the track they would say no, same applies to dragging.
It's all about driver and machinery working as one to produce the quickest reaction, 60 ft, 660 ft and 1/4 mile times, together with the best possible terminal speed.
Often people that thrash their cars get slower times than people that work with the car.
I'm off to Calder tonight for some \"testing\" so should have some idea of what the rest of you will be up against
Looking forward to it.
Cheers
