If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

\"real-world driving conditions\" then I'd have nice cold air being forced up to the filter.

BTW it's not a rip-off of the Mania system. Development occurred at almost exactly the same time...

bwahaha

nothing shticky tape cant fix

can i come watch this might be amusing.

i havent played with an NA before either would be cool to have a look and see where you might be able to poke a hole :D

i was kinda in your boat when i done my intake but wanted to get the best return i could and well.. hot side didnt look like it was going to be the biggest possible return.
basicaly i thought..., if i only cut cheap plastic guards and bash plates under the car and in the wheel arches then if i do make a f#@K up it wont be toooo exy to buy new bits to get it back to how it was... the only big bullet i bit was chopping my standard intake pipe off at the elbo rather than buying some pipe, hose clamps and so on.

if you have a dodgy day let me know ill be happy to come along just let me know if you need me to bring some tools

I did a Matty King special not long ago. 1st impresseions..... That is LOUD

Unfortunately it did not undo the power loss which happened becasue of the strangling of the exhaust by the new muffler, but it does sound fabulous, no dyno before and after either...

How i did it. Autobarn - $54 simota pod filter with heat case and $32 for a pod filter adaptor for square to 3\" round. $4.20 for a 100mm --> 80mm PVC connector. Free 80mm pipe from my mate the plumber(only need about 20cm). I bought some hammertone blue paint for it aswell, but that doesn't count as a build cost, i was being anal.

Matty's article says 65mm - 75mm pipe, but i had free 80, so i used that, and it fits. :?

I had some metal at home for the brackets also, so i didn't need to go to bunnings and spend $10 on nuts bolts and metal. 8)
