How was it?

I didn't realise last week that I was going to a friend's b'day at a winery.

It was a top day :) but we had to leave early at about 2:00pm. All sorts of stuff was there from hill climb specials with huge motor bike engines and no weight through WRXs and such to a freaking (80 series?) landcruiser  . And wow could that cruiser move!!......a smidge over 52 seconds

Rhysk might have some pics.

MGCCQ have done a great job improving the track and the venue. We'll be going to the next one on 13 August if it doesn't clash with a club run.

If it's the Landcruiser that does Qld Challenge, it is supposed to have 600hp or something stupid. Bloody funny to watch.

I am pretty sure the cruiser has the 4.5L cruiser engine, but with a huge mother of a turbo on it. Yeah heard stories of 600hp not sure on exact power though. Its almost as fast as some of the WRX's and evo's etc.

That'd be the Nicholson's 4.5L Turbo Landcruiser. Seen id before at Mt Cotton and was somwhere between awe and laughter - good fun. I've chased them on Coastal before and that thing can move. What kind of times were they doing?

Cheers,
