Looks to be an awesome day. Once i sort out the new suspension i'll join the MX5 club and start heading out with you guys!

CB, it is great fun in the wet however we both suffer from \"helmet in the hoodlining\" :shock:

Only place the LSD makes a difference I found is on the hairpin, and probably best to get used to how an LSD engages and drives first before jumping on the track, as it's a very different drive with it installed. Great once you get the hang of them though!

Peter,

Just that in certain circumstances the LSD can bite and the rear steps out unexpectedly. Great fun when you know it's gunna happen but might be a bit of a handfull initially on the track with Matt never having dríven one in anger. I'd highly recommend a skidpan day at EC on the wet skidpan to learn the LSD in safety, and it's darn good fun...I still fondly remember driving Dave's SP with a Guru LSD there!

Dave doesn't remember it that fondly though...

Reckons there was grass stuck in the tyre bead or something like that :roll:

I reckon he should be grateful to have had such a distinguished test driver :mrgreen:

So... who hasn't spun Dave's SP yet?

Sports exhaust and semi-slicks put on the car last night. Went out for a quick celebratory hoon after the game last night. DAMN I LOVE my car.

Can't wait for the weekend, it is going to be fantastic!

If thats still unclear....the Video where i'm chasing Red Baron at Wakefield is a classic example. Turn 9 doing about 100 in the wet. on the gas....accelerating ....whack the rear just slide away from under me. yippeeeeeee.....

Scarey in the wet. :shock:

A pain to move round the pits though. :frown:

Obviously no good for a road car.

EC Skid Pan for a training session then.
I've already noticed in the dry, it bites earlier in the turn, whereas it used to slide a bit.

Got a second hand set of Toyo RA-1s, on a set of 15x7 rims.

The 1989 track car. The one with the red nose.

It would have had a green roof too, but the camera mount fouls the hard top. Oh well, only two colours... have to either paint the nose silver or every other panel a different colour.
