Excellent. Well organised, plenty of laps and instructors were all professionals.

This was my first run around EC, and it was quite different to my usual runs around wakefield. 180 km/h at the end of the main straight, light braking and 160 km/h through turn one! Serious sphincter tightening moments!

Joined some friends with some very impressive vehicles.. one had a late model Commodore ute with a group A spec engine. Sounded bloody fantastic down the main straight. another had a typhoon with over 300kw! that managed to keep up with a GT3 own by another mate. Mind you the I think there was a slight gap in driver ability as well.

An excellent array of cars, some very nice lotus racers including one exige with a supercharged honda engine installed.

A few MX-5 turned up. I must say there drivers were more impressive than their vehicles though :oops:

Recommended to anyone who is keen to give the creek a try. Would love to do an MX-5 only day there with the club one day, would be great to have a track and skid pan comp for club honours :lol: :lol:

Someone mentioned the next one is 30 Aug if anyone is interested.

Yes, a good day, pity about some of the cars/drivers though, they did tend to get under foot :roll:

T1 = :shock: :mrgreen:

Plenty of track time :mrgreen:

I have a bit of work to do after the EC round last weekend, so I doubt I will make 30th, but am interested in another run before the last round of the Supersprints in October. Anyone know any club track days at EC in the next couple of months - must be timed though, I need to get a handle on a quick lap to keep my chances alive ...
I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)

Race cars can run, so long as they have a passenger seat. (I think.)

Contact them.

There is another one on the 30th. I'll be there. :D :D :D :D

Who's coming?
