Can i run 15 x 6 rims with a +20 offset

Postby green_comet » Wed Apr 19, 2006 9:30 pm

Hi everyone,

Im looking at getting a new set of wheels, they are 15x6 with a +20 offset..
Would i be able to run wheels with such a large offset, or will they stick out too far from the car, and require flares?

I hope so, because I'm about to put 15x7 +17's on my Clubman

Babalouie had 15x6.5 +14's on his Clubman

I believe you can fit 15x8 ET40 with a 225/50 tyre in there (minimal rubbing on full lock). That's an extra 5mm protrusion on the outside than what you're considering...

I don't have tyres for the new wheels yet and I havent had the guards rolled, I just put them on the passenger side to see where they sat

Hey Matty, would you be able to reply in this thread? Do you think a 15x7 with offset of +15 would scrub on a lowered NB8B. Tyres will be 205/50/r15.

Thanks. :)

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
